House cats playing in the road with an old mouse … until a little bird falls onto the asphalt. Didi takes the old mouse when Gogo goes for the little bird, then brakes suddenly skid and Gogo's bird flutters awake and flaps and flies away.

I didn't like it because I think it describes a cat being hit by a car, and I like cats more than most people, even when she shreds the furniture.

I also don't like when people let their cats run wild. It's irresponsible and dangerous for the cat.

If you add a line where the cat goes home perfectly fine, then I'll change me mind and like it, but I'll still want to know the owner saw what happened and is now committed to keeping the cat inside.

I get the cat will keep trying to get out, but that's just something they'll have to deal with. Maybe get it some treats or canned food. Fancy Feast with the gravy is a good choice, not so much the pate kind. That way the cat will like to stay inside.

If it runs out, you can get some of the cat food and click on the lid and yell "canned food" and then she'll come running in. You can talk to the cat too, but be sure to talk in a little kid's voice. They prefer that.

That's my review. Oh, and keep the litterbox clean for God's sake.

I'll take care of that right away! Also put some m,ore hot water in the feral cats' drinking pan.

I didn't like it for much the same reason. There doesn't seem to be a point.

And brakes don't skid.

Reply to Hanover Yours is a somewhat rambling cautionary tale...it sounds like something the big boss when George Costanza was working for the Yankees would say.

Does it really? I'm sure you've slammed on the brakes to avoid smushing a cat, Mr. Catlover. :smirk:

Substitute "my grandmothers" for "house cats" and you'll understand why I found it troubling. I equate the two
