On the "theory of descriptions."
According to it, can we think of a thing as being a member of a set of things that we're acquainted with if we don't have an acquaintance with that thing from a past experience?
My usage of the term "acquaintance" should be understood in the way that it, in contrast to the term "description," is defined within the "theory of descriptions."
